STORIES FROM THE SHEDS: MINI BEAST WORKSHOP: VIDEO COMING SOON MAY 2024

150 people joined me to learn about the wonderful Wandle and had fun exploring the natural sciences, art and technology. Together you made simple stamp prints using foodstuffs such as limes, tomatoes, cucumbers and lemons. We then added to them to make our own personal insect artworks and named them using a fun scientific insect name generator! Visitors took the work home with them but also we photographed them and I'm now busy inserting them into on-going animation project on the River Wandle. The animation will appear soon!

This project was made possible by Sutton Council's Cultural Services and was part of Sutton Steams Ahead, funded by the Mayors Cultural Impact Award.
