THE RIVER. A SHORT FILM

I am pleased to announce details of the long awaited second viewing of my film 'The River.' I will be showing the film as part of the Wandle Fortnight, with an accompanying exhibition of some of the work that was in the film, including animation stills and digital works not previously exhibited. An exhibition of the artwork involved in the making of the film 'The River.' A free exhibition on the making of the film, including original pastels, animation stills and digital works not previously exhibited.

 

This animated and live action film acts as a library and celebratin of the River Wandle chalk stream in South London.It combines recorded walks from pleinair artist Neal Vaughan, written memories from the community and creative responses of visual, spoken word and musical artists.The film weaves this influences together in dymanic animated film sequences and carefully edited location footage. Expect anything from; animated charcoal drawings, digital collages, poetry and techno music!
