NEAL VAUGHAN: contemporary art
Charcoals are a huge part of my practice. They are all most exclusively plein air (on location) and use light and shape as a means to convey distance and atmosphere. Many are in now private collections, but some recent charcoals are still available as either framed or unframed.
Larger Works
These large charcoal drawings range from 2 meters long. Prints are available up to A1. Drawing large outside is a challenge - but many of these works have been done as commissions. This gives me the time and space to explore with a range of media.
Smaller Works
